Earlier this year I spent a week in Mexico. Most of that time was spent in Mexico City which I found to be a wonderful vibrant and friendly place.
One thing that interested me was the way that similar shops stuck to the same streets - one street would have lots of pharmacies, another street would have shoe shops and so on. What most fascinated me were the streets that were full of dress shops. Not just any dresses mind you: these were shops for ball gowns, prom dresses, communion dresses and wedding dresses. Dresses of wonderfully over the top designs, made from brightly coloured fabric.
What follows are some photographs I took one hot afternoon while walking around the few streets that contain the dress shops.
Really awesome pictures. I especially loved the one outside of the shop. It had a sort of retro look to it that seemed really cool. Do you consider yourself a fine art photographer? If you do, can you tell me what you think of http://allindaphoto.com? I've heard that they are really good and I'm interested to see what you think.

Hi Leslie. I'm glad you liked my photo's enough to take time to comment on them - I really appreciate it! I consider that some of the work that I produce could be considered fine art, but I mainly just say that I am a photographer.
I'm not sure why you want my opinion on other photographer's work. Photography, like all art, is very subjective. What you consider an excellent photograph, I may not rate at all - and vice versa. I had a look at the link you provided and their photographs are not to my taste, but if you like them then that's great!
I'm not sure if you're aware, but I stopped posting on my typepad blog and moved to wordpress - sarphotography.wordpress.com
I also started a new blog last month where I post a new photo every day - 24hourphoto.wordpress.com
And then there is my proper website - www.sar-photography.com
All the best
Simon
